*For each %, the total cost is $1,655.00, covering the horse’s initial purchase price, acquisition expenses incurred during the sale, a 5% bloodstock commission, one-year mortality insurance (provided by Kiger Insurance) amounting to 5% of the auction price, and essential costs associated with marketing and managing the horse. Note: In addition, a refundable expense reserve of $50 per % for one month is also due up front, and it will be reimbursed once the partnership concludes. The ongoing maintenance expenses, including training, transportation, and veterinary costs, that the owners are responsible for are always applied retroactively to the purchase date of 6/13/24, irrespective of when one becomes an owner of the horse.
